Opportunity for All

From tuition to travel to food and accommodations, the entire program is provided at no personal expense to every student who participates. Maestros can come from anywhere, and an opportunity like this should be available to every exceptional musician willing to practice for it. By making talent and sweat the only barriers of entry, the orchestra is able to attract and matriculate the strongest applicants from all across China. Of course, all of this is only possible through the aid and generosity of our supporters, the most prominent of which are featured below:

Corporate Sponsorships

NYO-China offers donors the opportunity to sponsor a particular concert, our annual residency, or an entire season. In the past, NYO-China has performed for sold-out audiences in venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Konzerthaus Berlin, and the Shanghai Oriental Arts Center, often with many more viewers online. Ample marketing opportunities will be afforded sponsors according to the venues selected, the amount contributed, and the donor’s objectives.

Season sponsors will receive extensive visibility beyond the concert tour and residency, including our global recruitment campaign, chamber recitals held throughout the year, and any post-tour media.

Private Donations

Private donors may choose to give directly to the NYO-China Scholarship Fund. Gifts of any size are welcome, but donors may elect to “sponsor” a student by contributing 10,000 USD, or the approximate cost per musician for an individual season.

Larger donations can also go so far as to support entire sections of the orchestra for that season. Here, you can find the cost of underwriting each section in the ensemble.
